Newest addition to our horse training range is our Desentising Dangler aka The Saddle Flag and Rope Thingo. This training tool is created in mind for horses that need further desentising to a weighted noisy and flappy items.

An updated version of the old feedbags tied to the saddle, this flag and rope training tool can be weighted with washers, sand, pebbles etc to the purpose needed. At the end of each strip is a velcro pocket for you to add your choice of weights though just the added weight of the velcro helps as well. Unlike feed bags which can flood the horse due to a lack of pressure and release when they pause, these sit still when the horse relaxes, thus re-enforces the state of calm.

As always only ever using quality materials, with an added aluminium carabiner as standard with the flag or update to a heavy duty stainless steel via separate listing. You will be able to start using your new training tool straight away. Ideally attach to the dees at the back or front of the saddle or a lunging surcingle to enhance the opportunity for your horse to see, feel and hear movement before a rider sets a foot into the stirrup. 

Sewn with longevity in mind these new saddle flag thingos (haven't quite decided on a name yet!) will surely be a helpful training tool to add to your kit.
